        1. (1) a sector composed of one or more of the following entities:
          1. (a) an investment firm;
          1. (b) a financial institution; and
          1. (c) (in the circumstances described in GENPRU 3.1.39 R (The financial sectors: Asset management companies and alternative investment fund managers)) an asset management company or an alternative investment fund manager.
        1. (2) (in BIPRU (except in BIPRU 12) a sector comprised of one or more of the following entities:
          1. (a) the entities in (1); and
          1. (b) a CAD investment firm.
