EEA financial conglomerate

21a financial conglomerate that is of a type that falls under Article 5(2) of the Financial Groups Directive (Scope of supplementary supervision of regulated entities referred to in Article 1 of that Directive) which in summary means a financial conglomerate:

1. (a) that is headed by an EEA regulated entity; or
1. (b) in which the parent undertaking of an EEA regulated entity is a mixed financial holding company which has its head office in the EEA; or
1. (c) in which an EEA regulated entity is linked with a member of the financial conglomerate in the overall financial sector by a consolidation Article 12(1) relationship.
