REC 2.16B Operation of a data reporting service

REC 2.16B.1UKRP

1A [UK RIE] providing data reporting services must comply with—2

(a)

the Data Reporting Services Regulations 2017 (SI 2017/699);2

(b)

the requirements of [MAR 9];2

(c)

Chapter 6 of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/565 of 25 April 2016 supplementing Directive 2014/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards organisational requirements and operating conditions for investment firms and defined terms for the purposes of that Directive;2

(d)

Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/571 of 2 June 2016 supplementing Directive 2014/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council with regard to regulatory technical standards on the authorisation, organisational requirements and the publication of transactions for data reporting services providers;2

(e)

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/1110 of 22 June 2017 laying down implementing technical standards with regard to the standard forms, templates and procedures for the authorisation of data reporting service providers and related notifications pursuant to Directive 2014/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on markets in financial instruments.2

A UK RIE offering, or applying to offer, the operation of a data reporting service should have regard to the guidance relating to such service in MAR 9 (Data reporting services).
