This chapter applies to credit unions and is intended to draw their attention to2:

   the investigation and enforcement powers available to the FSA under Industrial and Provident Societies legislation;

The FSA's effective and proportionate use of its investigation and enforcement powers plays an important role in the pursuit of its regulatory objectives.
